The customer
Mumtaz Foods has been a special part of the UK curry landscape for decades. Starting in the 1970s, they are well-known for their restaurants and manufacturing authentic curry dishes and ingredients.
The solution
Following a consultation at Mumtaz Foods West Yorkshire ready meals factory, we identified badly cracked and crazed screeds.
The ground floor area had been badly screeded, and construction joints had not been brought through from the concrete. We identified a solution involving several BASF products along with Ucrete UD200 and Mastertop 1325 and 1324.
Implementation
During the installation of this 1,600m2 solution, de-bonded sections of screed needed identifying and replacing before application of the floor finishes.
As well as installing several BASF performance flooring products we applied Ucrete UD200, Mastertop 1325 and a further textured Mastertop 1324 layer.
