Designs Signage Solutions was founded in 1993 and creates signs and graphics for buildings and vehicles. As leading experts in the industry, they offer a comprehensive range of high-quality signage and livery solutions. Based from their purpose-built premises in Hull, the company has expanded over three decades and developed a reputation for excellence.
The solution
In their busy manufacturing and installation area, the existing resin coating was failing, and further investigation revealed superficial cracking to the existing concrete. The area is accessed by customers and a good impression was key. We proposed a repair with two coats of Altrotect High Build Epoxy gloss coating and visual demarcation lines.
Implementation
Following the preparation of the area, we laid two coats of the Altrotect High Build Epoxy gloss resin coating along with an anti-slip aggregate.
We then added Demarcation lines to create clear bay areas for the customer, with a high gloss finish on the floor throughout. Demarcation lines help to separate pedestrian and wheeled traffic increasing safety. They also help to identify areas of storage, clearing walkways and work areas.
