The customer
Established in 1992, Bee Health is one of the UK’s leading vitamin, mineral, and supplement manufacturers. At its 80,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, the company produces 400 million capsules and tablets a week for customers in over 40 countries.
The solution
We have previously worked with Bee Health via Thompson Construction, applying a slip-resistant epoxy floor to their extension which would become their drying tunnel. For the second phase of the project, a first-floor Vegan room was created with high hygiene requirements. As the area was constructed using timber with a layer of marine ply as a base, the specified system had to be flexible to cope with potential movement.
Implementation
We recommended a Pumathane resin system from Resdev. Pumathane is a range of high-performance, flexible products which can be used to create seamless surfaces. The hygienic flooring is available in a range of colours with excellent chemical, slip and impact resistance.
Pumathane flexible polyurethane flooring systems are easy to clean and maintain, making them ideal for this kind of installation.
