The customer
Brenntag United Kingdom is a subsidiary of Brenntag SE, the global market leader in chemical and ingredients distribution. They have more than 17,700 employees worldwide and operate a network of more than 600 sites in 72 countries, offering comprehensive solutions as well as individual chemical products.
The solution
Brenntag’s manufacturing facility in Lutterworth invited Lasercroft to support them in replacing their existing flooring, which had de-bonded and was no longer fit for purpose. We proposed Ucrete UD200 and Ucrete RG as the most suitable for their environment.
Implementation
We recommended Ucrete UD200 by Sika due to its lightly textured effect and heavy-duty nature, which offers good resistance to aggressive chemicals, heavy impact and can tolerate temperatures up to +150 degrees. We combined this with Ucrete RG by Sika as a heavy-duty polyurethane render and coving mortar. We removed the existing flooring and prepared the area before priming. We then applied the flooring to the customer’s specifications.
